Hi!
I mentioned that I would post when I got inspired.
Something hit this morning while I was reading "my morning paper".
(she did NOT do this to her pillow)
Dignity and respect for the pillow.
Please.
Pillows everywhere thank you, Karianne!
This photo came from Thistlewood Farm and
I didn't have time to ask for permission. But I will.
love you gals,

Kolein,
ReplyDeleteYou are a rock star! Pillows are my new favorite thing. Anything that inspires you my wonderful funny friend. You have made my day!
blessings,
karianne
PS I am giving you a shout out on fb!
I used to want to be a rock star (well, a folk rock star) in my past life!
DeleteThank you for feeding my pillow addiction. I don't think I'll ever recover. Love them!
ReplyDeleteThe last photo.... of the all the pillows on the dainty sofa? SO pretty! And of course anything Karianne does! Hope your week is off to a wonderful start =)
ReplyDeleteThank you!! I know!! Karianne is AMAZING!
DeleteI always love how people put pillows together on couches, beds, entry way benches. Then I put mine on those places and they look like I threw them across the room and tried to make them land in the right spot. There must be a special knack to pillow placement!
ReplyDelete~Bliss~
LOL! I think a pillow anywhere is a good thing! As long as they are not punched down the middle! Thank you for stopping by!!!
DeleteYeah, I don't understand why our pillows must have butt cracks ... and Kari is my morning paper too. Nothing like starting the day with a big 'ol smile!
ReplyDelete:)
Linda
ooooo noooooo Mr. Bill! Not the pillows!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha... I have never understood that trend. I like my pillows to look like, you know, pillows! Leave it to the fabulous Karianne!
ReplyDeleteI've always wondered about the decorator karate chop on the pillows myself, thanks for pointing it out:)
ReplyDeleteOh Em Geee...it drives me batty to see pillows like that! And I, too, love that Karianne over at Thistlewood. So happy you got inspired to post again!!

The blue and green pillow...gorgeous!! Actually,I love all the pillows you picked out! Makes me want new ones for my living room...:)
ReplyDeleteKolein
ReplyDeleteSo glad you jumped back into the blogging bandwagon!
I cracked up when I read your comment on Kari's post! Hey, not judging - we all have our issues and yours is pillows!
Kelly
oh my gosh that is hilarious! i am so with you!
ReplyDeleteMUCH inspired! What GRAND pillows! And, love the blog!

You're so right!! I've never really been on board with the karate chopping pillows movement anyway. :)

Kolein- you crack me up!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute post. Very much needed too!
I'm getting ready to rearrange for the warmer months... and after reading this post; I just had to go back and look at my summer arrangement last year. YES! I cracked, abused and violated my poor pillows!
I'm so glad I have you~ I needed an IN.TER.VEN.TION. ...and you were there for me!
I'm just saying-- smooshed pillows aren't me. When I looked at them all smooshed like that, I realized I was trying to be somebody I wasn't!
I like them just 'tossed' on the couch really. As though I just ran out of the room; like the house was afire!
So glad you pointed this out. Because I really don't get the smoosh.

I must confess...I am a karate chopper (although some of those are even a little intensely chopped for me). Beautiful covers though! Thanks for the laugh and the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHaha, seeing all those pillows together makes them look RIDICULOUS! So glad for wonderful friends like Karianne who know how to treat a pillow right!!
ReplyDeleteBut I love making a "heart" out of my pillows...but then again. does it look like a fortune cookie too...Oh so love KariAnne's pillow...
ReplyDeleteWell, hello! Nice to see you back (as I am myself too, well sort of, when I get a chance!) ... I must say I'm with you on the pillows (we call them cushions tho!), and the painted floor is fabulous and what a wandering post which just took me on a little journey of painted floor and pillow loveliness! :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha! A perfect link to cap off the Pillowpalooza party!
ReplyDelete:)
Linda
