MONDAY MAKEOVER-is something done yet?

There are things that are done.

The entry way will be finished by the end of the week.

I've had quite the experience.

Here are a few sneak peaks:

Notice my apron?  And no power tools.  All by hand, thank you very much.  And my wrist is aching like nobody's business!!

EC thought he'd get in on this and take some shots of me in the closet!  Working away!

A very special find in the basement!  Oh  my!

I was going to be putting the finishing touches on today.

But Ginger called.

So we went here instead.

You understand, don't you?
Sometimes you just gotta get out of the house!

Here's a little change up before I go off to bed.
Remember this next door curb find?

I think she feels better this way.
Don't you?

Have the most wonderful evening!!!

  1. Love the chair. Great bold color and fun design. Can't wait to see more!

  2. I'm begging for more...
I want to see it Kolein!

    You're just making me crazy...
you are going to have something so nice to be proud of when you get finished.

I'm liking what appears to be a curtain, and it picks up on the color of paint on the curb chair. The hooks are great!
    I can't wait.

  3. Ohhhh pretty pretty chair! Didn't you say you weren't a painter?!? Loving the hooks!

Now go git yerself a cordless drill and you won't WANT to leave the house. :)

  4. Oh! I love the combo of colors you are using and I love that you were brave enough to paint the chair blue- what color is that?
I have a chair that needs a makeover...yu got me thinkin'-and it hurts.
BTW--I nominated you for a Sunshine Award today :)
    Check it out at:

Blessings as you make your home!

  5. I'm glad to see you're using that apron well! I see you have your hammer in the key loop, but hey, if it works, it works, right? lol

I'm exctied to see what you've done with your area. The little sneak peeks look like they lead to something really great.

Those pictures you took are beautiful. Don't you just love to get outside? I miss living near my friends. No one drops by when you don't know anyone anymore. boohoo.

I'll be looking for that reveal!

  6. You are just so cute. I know I'm always going to smile when I visit your blog. The entry is looking fantastic. I can't wait to see how it all turns out.

  7. Kolein, I love your chair. You did an amazing job. So pretty, fresh and fun.

Your pictures were very pretty of your outdoor adventure today. Good for you for stopping when you had the chance to play a little. your new button. I will get Keith to help me get rid of your old one and grab your new one.

  8. you are rockin' that apron tool belt. get it girl. love the blue chair! that is a MAJOR improvement.

  9. I KNOW you're not 56- I was just kidding, but maybe you knew that, maybe you didn't?
    You also don't look 46.
    36, but NOT 46.
I think laughter and joy must keep you young lookin'--pass some o' that this way!
    P.S. Finish that closet!
P.P.S. I am finishing my Master Bedroom today- and if I can do that, you can finish your closet.
P.P.P.S. My bedroom is bigger than your closet, so you have no excuse not to finish your closet.

  10. Chair love. That's all I have to say.

What you say means so much
