Everything is some kind of a BEFORE shot!

I'm a work in progress.

My home is too.

My entire LIFE is, OK?

Oh, I know it's OK with you.

You're the same as me.

Hello?

(tap. tap.) anybody in there?

Well, as I was saying...

Here are some after shots
of my before shots of my linen closet
(cuz we'll be gutting the place this spring)

It is 2 ft in front of the tub

Yeah, lots of room in this Master bathroom!

There used to be a door on the linen closet.
Right next to the door
to the toilet area.
(see: lower right hand corner of pic)
Which is right next to the door
to the powder room.

Why?
Only the contractor knows.
It was 1970.
Need I say more?

So.

Remove the door.
Hang curtain.
Paint shelves?
Hmm?
Paint?
Let them dry? Time?
Um?
No.
Cover shelves.

With canvas.
Use white tacks.
(That's the bottom of the shelf, btw.)
Here's what the shelves look like.
Neat.
Orderly.
The fabric adds a bit of warmth.

The curtain is on a tension rod.
Never opens or closes.
The top shelves house
toiletries & cleaning supplies.
Towels are within arms reach
after a nice hot shower.
We never take baths here.
If you saw the tub you might puke.
1970.

Grateful to have a home!
2010.

  2. Love it!

When you get right down to it...aren't all the pictures we post before shots?
I think that was your point.

I personally love the curtain. I also like the fabric covered shelves.

Thanks for the posts on my blog, btw.
