And then there are days like these!

EC on the front porch

pickin' his git fiddle.

Sun shining.

Kids playing outdoors.

Me, doing laundry?

Me, doing laundry?

Yep, gettin' ahead of the week.

It's ok by me.

I feel peace deep down in my soul.

Then my 9yo swings open the door and runs in the house with these.

"Because I know how much you love wild flowers Mommy!  Here, these are for you!!"

Peace deep down in my soul.

Have a lovely Sunday!

  1. Sweet, so sweet.

Don't you just love those precious gifts from our children? Those are the flowers you press in between the pages of a book only to discover them later and be so filled with sweet memories.

    Love you, sisters in Christ...Amy

  2. Sounds like a wonderful day. My day is going like that too. The doors are slamming in the house because the screens are on and the wind is blowin. Enjoy the rest of your day. If you have any interest, I am part of a special blog that is a full of contributors. Not one of us owns the blog, we all can post. Check it out and see if you like it:

  3. Kids make a day even better! Enjoy every minute! Have a great week!

  4. These are the good old days~
    What a sweet child!
I love hand-picked/plucked/mauled flowers the best, always have.
    You are one blessed momma.
    (Those are beautiful pictures, too!)

What you say means so much
